Description
A range of GN 2/1 negative cabinets to structure intensive frozen storage in professional kitchens.
From 600 to 1400 L, these ventilated cooling cabinet freezers are aimed at high-volume restaurants, caterers, communities, laboratories and central kitchens which need larger volumes with an organisation compatible with GN 2/1.
Why switch to a ventilated GN 2/1 cabinet?
1. To handle heavier volumes
The 600, 700, 1200 and 1400 L capacities cover the needs of a truly central negative reserve.
2. To work with professional foodservice formats
The 2/1 GN compatibility makes it easier to organise containers, racks and preparations in the kitchen.
3. To gain operating flexibility
Adjustable racks and casters simplify configuration changes and cleaning.
ChillerHub advice: don’t just choose raw capacity. Compare the net volume, available width, number of doors and access to your storage area.

Points to check before purchase
- Check the passage widths before delivery, especially with double doors.
- Compare gross volume and net volume to size the useful stock.
- Provide storage areas per family to avoid long openings.
- Check that the containers or grids used correspond to the GN 2/1 format.
Our recommendation: the 600/700 L is sufficient for an average central reserve; the 1200/1400 L should be reserved for kitchens that really hold up stock.
